In summer, there are sporty active discovery tours through Tyrolean mountains waiting for you. There is nothing more to wish for hikers, bikers, alpinists, and paragliders in the Zugspitze area.
Whether it is a heavenly mountain scenery, the recreation area, or the nature reserve of the marshland – the greenery of the nature paradise can be enjoyed on 300 kilometers of hiking trails. High huts, crystal clear lakes, steep headwalls and massifs are going to make you holiday to a once in a lifetime experience. There is something for everybody – children & adults, hiker & biker. The Zugspitze region was voted the best bike-region of Austria for the second time!

Undertakings and adventures
In the woods, you’ll learn everything about herbs from Kasimir the herbsman and you’ll discover exciting things with his friends Zugspitzi, Moosle, Horsti & Castor!
Come and travel to the bees and lamas. Together with Castor the beaver and Kasimir you can pet the soft lamas and get to know the hard-working bee Line. I’m sure she’ll show you her favourite flowers and tell you, how she makes honey!
Have adventures with Wendelin the water flea in the waterworld and amusement park Lusspark. Find out who lives in the lakes of Tyrol – do you already know all their inhabitants? Afterwards you can let off steam in Moosle’s climbing park – sliding, flying fox, and swinging for all one is worth.
In the enchanted forest Kasimir and his friend the bear are waiting for you, so you can discover the forest together, cook stinging nettle crisps, collect herbs and find out, who lives in the woods! Do you know how to build a shelter and what a forest marble run is? Kasimir and his friend the bear will help you with everything and show you the life in the forest!
In Kasimirs workshop of herbs, you can process the collected herbs, make magic potions, salt with herbs or butter with herbs and surprise your parents and siblings with nice presents. Or you can just eat it all by yourself, while sitting at the campfire with Kasimir.
At the end of the week, you get an “excellent nature-observer”-certificate!
